We recently sat down with Chef Chris and Katie Wolf, the owners of Wolf Pack Chorus, and let us tell you, they’re bringing something special to Cleveland. Chris and Katie have a long history in country clubs and resorts, and their concept for the restaurant is to bring fine dining to everybody by making it approachable.
“We want to be kind of that intermediary, that first step into that (fine dining) world, when they com here. We’re less pretentious and more approachable” says Chris.”
And let’s talk about the food. Their menu caters to all tastes, ranging from chicken fingers and wings to steak, tuna or mussels. But they take these ordinary dishes and make them exceptional. “We’re just putting our spin on some classic things,” Katie tells us. “We’re really proud of the menu, and we’ve got a little bit of everything for everyone.”
We got a sneak peek of the restaurant and tried some of their dishes, and let us tell you, they were incredible. The peanut butter and jelly wings were a hit, and the steak was cooked to perfection, with a hint of smokiness and a sauce that brought out the flavor of the meat. But the showstopper at the end was their Twix bar, made from scratch. It’s the dessert you never knew you needed until you tried it.
Let’s chat about the drinks for a sec, shall we? Let’s just say, we were not expecting the explosion of flavors. One standout was the ‘Spill the Tea’ cocktail, which we loved for obvious reasons. Unfortunately, we can’t quite remember what was in it, but we do know that we’ll definitely be getting it again.
The couple then announced the soft opening of the restaurant, with a tentative opening date set for around the 1st of March. They plan to be open Wednesday through Monday, closed on Tuesday, but they will have Monday brunch, targeting those who work in the service industry. In the words of Chef Chris, “We want to offer the chance to experience what the rest of the world is doing least on one day. I mean, we don’t want anyone in the service industry to miss out on the joys of champagne and eggs benedict!”
We love their concept of bringing fine dining to the masses, and we can’t wait for you to experience it for yourself. Head over to Wolf Pack Chorus, located at 2175 Cornell Road in Little Italy, and get ready to experience a fun, approachable, and delicious dining experience.
