Attention Cleveland residents: prepare for the upcoming winter storm with updates from the City of Cleveland’s Department of Public Works, CLE Hopkins International Airport, and the Cleveland Division of Fire. Join us for a virtual briefing on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 10 a.m. EST to learn about the city’s service plan for streets, what to expect for air travel at CLE Hopkins Airport, and safety tips to keep you warm and safe during the storm.

In addition to the virtual briefing, the City of Cleveland Department of Public Works has extended the hours of several recreation centers to serve as warming centers for Cleveland residents seeking shelter from the storm. The following sites will be open on Friday, Dec. 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.: Zelma George Neighborhood Resource & Recreation Center, Collinwood Neighborhood Resource & Recreation Center, Michael Zone Neighborhood Resource & Recreation Center, and Sterling Neighborhood Resource & Recreation Center.
On Saturday, Dec. 24 and Sunday, Dec. 25, the following sites will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.: Zelma George Neighborhood Resource & Recreation Center, Collinwood Neighborhood Resource & Recreation Center, Michael Zone Neighborhood Resource & Recreation Center, and Sterling Neighborhood Resource & Recreation Center.
On Monday, Dec. 26, the following sites will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.: Zelma George Neighborhood Resource & Recreation Center and Michael Zone Neighborhood Resource & Recreation Center.
