Are you tired of your electric scooter ride being cut short at 9pm? Well, have no fear because the City of Cleveland is extending e-scooter riding hours from 5am to 11pm starting January 27th, 2023! That’s right, you can now scoot to your heart’s desire (as long as it’s not under the influence of substances and following traffic laws, of course).
Thanks to feedback from riders, the City of Cleveland recognizes the need for more transportation options, especially in the evening hours. So, grab your helmet and get ready to scoot on over to that late-night rendezvous.
Currently, Bird, Lime, and LINK by Superpedestrian offer shared e-scooters for rent in the City of Cleveland. And while this change only applies to scooters, shared e-bikes are still available 24/7.
But, wait, there’s more! The City of Cleveland is also working towards encouraging more sustainable modes of transportation such as walking, biking, and taking transit. So, not only are you getting more scootin’ time, but you’re also helping the environment. Win-win!
Here’s a breakdown of the new e-scooter hours:
- E-scooter riding hours will now be from 5am to 11pm
- E-scooters are available for rent from Bird, Lime, and LINK by Superpedestrian
- E-bikes are still available 24/7
