Checking out Cleveland’s plethora of coffee shops has been one of my favorite things to do since I moved here last year. Whether you are working, meeting a friend, or just craving some caffeine, here are 10 places for you to explore!
1. Rising Star Coffee Roasters (@risingstarcoffee)
Locations: Ohio City (Hingetown), Lakewood, Downtown (The Arcade), Tremont & more
Rising Star has been one of my most visited coffee shops since moving to Cleveland. They offer a kind and welcoming environment while curating some tasty drinks. The Promised Land Latte (notes of honey & cinnamon) with oat milk is my favorite!

2. Lekko Coffee (@lekkocoffee)
Location: Ohio City
Lekko is another coffee staple to visit in Cle. Located in Ohio City, this shop is my go-to for getting things done–they are open until 7 PM every day, have plenty of seats, good wifi & lots of natural light! I normally stick to a vanilla iced latte wherever I go, but the amaretto cold brew is my favorite when I want to switch it up.
3. Stonefruit Cle (@stonefruit_cle)
Location: Downtown
Stonefruit Coffee is an artsy shop located right in the heart of downtown Cleveland. They have a super fun mural showcasing the Cleveland skyline & another wall is filled with locally made Candles that you can purchase!
4. Milk & Honey (@milkandhoneycle)
Location: Downtown
Milk & Honey has a ton of super fun selections including a cinnamon toast latte, lemonades, smoothie bowls, bagel sandwiches & more! They just opened another location in Ohio City, called The Hive (@thehivecle)
5. Edda Coffee (@eddacoffee)
Location: Ohio City
Edda coffee recently opened in the past few months, and they quickly rose to become one of my favorite coffee shops. They have a plethora of seating (both inside & outside!!!) and also a huge food menu. The banana ricotta toast & this breakfast burrito were both TOO good not to share.
6. GoodKind Coffee (@goodkindcoffee)
Location: Lakewood
GoodKind is a coffee shop where you walk in and immediately feel welcomed. I loved the vanilla iced latte, but I have heard great things about their lavender latte too!
7. Coffee Coffee Coffee (@oldbkcoffee)
Location: Old Brooklyn (10 minutes south of downtown)
This shop is absolutely a hidden gem– with plenty of plants, outlets, and an assortment of specialty coffees & sandwiches, there are so many things to love about this place.
8. Routine Coffee (@routinecoffee.cle)
Routine Coffee is a mobile coffee camper that travels around Cleveland — check out their Instagram to see their next stop! Not only do they have great coffee, but they also have the cutest merch.
9. Broadway Mary’s (@broadwaymarys)
Location: Lorain
Broadway Mary’s is far from downtown Cle, it is truly too good not to share. Everything about this place makes the extra drive worth it!! (the breakfast burrito is also fantastic)
10. Copper Moon (@clevelandcoppermoon)
Location: Downtown/ Playhouse Square
The Copper Moon is a very unique hole-in-the-wall in downtown Cle. It is the perfect place to grab a cup to go and explore the area!
